Right side: Larger, less salty, lighter pink water
Left side: Smaller, more salty, deeper pink color
Order of bathing:
First enter the pink salt water.
Then apply the black healing mud and wash it off.
(Entering mud before the salt water is not recommended or allowed.)
Duration: Maximum 30 minutes in the salt water is advised.
Health restriction: People with heart conditions should not bathe in the Salt Lakes.
Mud treatment: The black mud may have a strong smell, but it provides excellent revitalizing effects for skin and body.
Safety:
No swimming or splashing in the salt ponds – only floating is allowed.
If salt water gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with your bottled water.
After the mud treatment, rinse off in the mud pond or in the sea outside the Salt Lakes area.
Beach access: The shore in front of the entrance is rocky. Walk 150 meters left towards the sea to reach a sandy beach with a lifeguard. The sea becomes deep quickly – around 1.70 m depth after 2–3 meters.
