Golden Sands Bulgaria
Golden Sands is one of the best-known seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and the largest resort on the northern coast of the country. The season usually starts in May and often continues until the end of October. The resort is located about 18 km north of Varna and next to Golden Sands Nature Park.
Golden Sands is known for its wide sandy beach, wooded hills, mineral springs, beach activities, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. The main beach stretches for more than 3.5 km and reaches up to 100 metres in width in places, while the resort is easy to move around thanks to its promenade and pedestrian areas. Varna Airport is the nearest airport and is around 24–25 km away by road.
