Order of bathing:

  1. First enter the pink salt water.

  2. Then apply the black healing mud and wash it off.
    (Entering mud before the salt water is not recommended or allowed.)

Duration: Maximum 30 minutes in the salt water is advised.

Health restriction: People with heart conditions should not bathe in the Salt Lakes.

Mud treatment: The black mud may have a strong smell, but it provides excellent revitalizing effects for skin and body.

Safety:

  • No swimming or splashing in the salt ponds – only floating is allowed.

  • If salt water gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with your bottled water.

Beach access: The shore in front of the entrance is rocky. Walk 150 meters left towards the sea to reach a sandy beach with a lifeguard. The sea becomes deep quickly – around 1.70 m depth after 2–3 meters.
